Training Venues

At present, South Tyneside Swimming Club trains in four locations.  The main location and our home pool is Hebburn Central.  We also use Boldon Comprehensive Swimming Pool, Jarrow Swimming Pool and Haven Point at South Shields.  Land Training is held using facilities at Boldon Comprehensive School and Haven Point.

 

 

Hebburn Central

Hebburn Central, which opened on 15th June 2015, is our new home pool following the closure of Hebburn Swimming Pool on Campbell Park Road.  This is where most of our Learn To Swim classes are held and our Swimmer of the Month Presentation takes place and is the main training location for our Competitive Squads.

Jarrow Community Pool

 

 Jarrow Community Pool opened in 2013 and the length of the pool is 25m.  It has 4 lanes with a moveable floor to allow the depth of the pool to be changed to suit differing abilities of swimmers.

Haven Point - South Shields

 

Haven Point opened in October 2013 and is South Tyneside's premier short course competition pool.  This is where we hold our Spring, Autumn and Club annual galas.
